The Committee coordinates the activities of resistance associations, safeguards the memory of the resistance and may, when carrying out its tasks, approach the public administrations in the interest of the members of resistance associations.
The Committee gives its opinion on the awarding of the Resistance Cross provided for by the modified grand-ducal decree of 30 March 1946 establishing a civic decoration.
